Owner/Gene Decosta
Born and raised in Boston, Gene DeCosta has been working in the Service Industry since the age of 12. Gene worked his way up through the food industry attaining positions of management with some of the area’s best fine dining establishments and caterers.  With a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, and a great eye for displays, Gene is relentless in his pursuit of visual aesthetics and design. His experience in fine dining establishments has also helped to develop his attention to detail. For the past last twelve years, he has been in the Catering business with some of Boston’s best upscale caterers.  Understanding the needs of customers is his forte and Root Catered Events is the outcome of all his years experience....
